The Salomon Aero Flow trainers are designed for adult male runners seeking a versatile, lightweight shoe capable of handling mixed terrains from smooth tarmac to uneven gravel paths. These trainers provide an excellent balance of dynamic responsiveness and plush cushioning, making them a reliable choice for daily training; however, users should note that they are optimized for moderate trails rather than extreme, technical off-road conditions.

The Aero Flow is designed for breathability and airflow; it is not waterproof and will allow moisture to enter in heavy rain or deep puddles.
They are ideal for light gravel trails and moderate paths, but for technical, steep, or rocky terrain, we recommend a dedicated hiking shoe like the X ULTRA series.
Use a soft brush and lukewarm water to remove dirt from the lace housing and toggle. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the tension mechanism.
The Aero Flow features an intuitive fit system that adapts well to most foot shapes, though as with any performance trainer, trying them on with your preferred running socks is recommended.
The OptiFOAM midsole is engineered for durability, though performance will depend on your mileage and running style. Generally, trainers should be replaced every 300-500 miles.
Loosen the lacing system entirely and re-tighten while the shoe is on your foot to ensure the tension is distributed evenly from toe to ankle.
Ensure the outsole treads are cleared of packed mud or debris, as surface obstructions can significantly reduce traction on slick surfaces.
To achieve the best fit, adjust the intuitive lacing system by pulling the toggle to your preferred tension, ensuring the pressure is distributed evenly across the instep. For long-term care, avoid machine washing your trainers, as this can degrade the cushioning properties of the midsole. Instead, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt and mud. Always air dry in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight or heat sources to maintain the integrity of the adhesive and fabric materials.
