Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your Timberland Trekker Boots:
- Cleaning the Upper: For the premium nubuck Better Leather and mesh fabric, gently brush off loose dirt with a soft brush. For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth and a specialized nubuck cleaner if necessary. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Gore-Tex® Membrane Care: To maintain the breathability and waterproofing of the Gore-Tex membrane, ensure the exterior is clean. Do not use oil-based products on the leather, as this can clog the pores and reduce breathability.
- Drying: If the boots become wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the leather and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Consider using boot trees to help maintain their shape.
