Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure your football socks are smooth and free of wrinkles to prevent discomfort and blisters.
- Fitting: Gently slide your foot into the low-cut slip-on construction. The flexible opening allows for easy entry while ensuring a snug fit around the ankle.
- Lacing: Secure the laces firmly but comfortably. Adjust tension to achieve a locked-down feel without pinching. The OrthoLite® heel cushioning and NanoGrip sockliner are designed to naturally secure your foot once laced.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This includes natural grass pitches that are firm, dry, or slightly wet. Using them on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or extremely hard ground may reduce performance, cause discomfort, or accelerate wear on the studs and outsole.
Care
- Immediate Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and debris by gently tapping the boots together. Use a soft brush or old toothbrush to clean between the studs.
- Wipe Down: Wipe down the upper with a damp cloth to remove any remaining dirt. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used, but avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Do not machine wash or tumble dry the boots. Air dry them in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can damage materials. For faster drying, remove the sockliner and stuff the boots with newspaper to absorb moisture.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them from dust and damage.
