Full details
The adidas F50 Messi Club TF trainers are designed for adult players who want to emulate Lionel Messi's signature agility on artificial turf surfaces. These trainers provide excellent traction for quick movements and a comfortable, secure fit, making them a great choice for recreational matches; however, they are specifically optimized for synthetic turf and may not perform as well on natural grass or indoor hardwood courts.

FAQs
Are these boots suitable for indoor play?
These trainers are designed for artificial turf. While they may work on some indoor surfaces, they are not optimized for flat, polished indoor courts.
Can I use these on natural grass?
No, the traction pattern is specifically designed for artificial surfaces and will not provide sufficient grip on natural grass.
How do I ensure the correct size?
The F50 Messi Club TF follows standard adult sizing. It is recommended to try them on in the afternoon when your feet are slightly swollen to ensure the best fit.
What does the 'TF' stand for?
TF stands for Turf, which refers to the type of outsole designed for synthetic grass or artificial turf surfaces.
How do I maintain the synthetic upper?
Wipe the upper with a damp cloth after use. Avoid using harsh chemicals or laundry machines, which can damage the synthetic material.
Troubleshooting
Accumulation of turf pellets in the outsole
Use a specialized boot brush or a stiff-bristled plastic brush to remove pellets from the stud patterns after every game.
Feeling of slipping inside the shoe
Check your lace tension. The floating tongue is designed to lock your foot in; if slipping persists, consider wearing high-grip sports socks.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Lightweight build enhances speed on the pitch
- Excellent traction specifically for artificial turf
- Secure fit provided by the floating tongue design
- Durable synthetic upper construction
Cons
- Not suitable for use on natural grass pitches
- Limited to artificial turf surface performance
- Synthetic material may require a brief break-in period
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your F50 Messi Club TF trainers stay in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Fitting: Ensure you wear the socks you typically use for matches to gauge the correct fit, as the floating tongue allows for minor adjustments.
- Surface Compatibility: These are designated as TF (Turf) trainers. They are intended solely for synthetic turf surfaces. Using them on abrasive asphalt or indoors may cause premature wear of the rubber outsole.
- Cleaning: After each session, knock off excess debris. Use a soft-bristled brush and lukewarm water to remove turf pellets and dirt from the studs. Avoid submerging the boots entirely.
- Storage: Allow the boots to air dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators, as this can degrade the synthetic upper.
