Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Unlace the boots sufficiently to easily slide your foot in. Ensure your heel is comfortably seated at the back of the boot.
- Adjusting the Fit: Starting from the bottom eyelets, progressively tighten the laces, working your way up. Adjust for a snug, secure fit that doesn't pinch or restrict blood flow. Double-knot for security.
- Break-in Period: It is recommended to wear your new boots for a few light training sessions or walks before an intense match to allow them to mold to your feet.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for artificial turf (Astro Turf) surfaces. The lug rubber outsole is engineered to provide optimal grip and durability on synthetic pitches. While they may technically be worn on other surfaces, performance and longevity could be compromised.
Care
Proper care extends the life of your boots and maintains their performance:
- Cleaning After Each Use: After every session, wipe off any dirt, mud, or rubber pellets. A soft brush or damp cloth works well for the upper and outsole.
- Remove Insole: If possible, remove the insoles after play to allow them and the inside of the boot to air out and dry completely.
- Air Dry: Always air dry your boots at room temperature. Never use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Refer to Product Label: Always check the specific care instructions on the product label for any additional recommendations.
