Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your adidas Predator Elite boots, proper care and attention to detail are essential:
- Break-in: Wear the boots during light training sessions for 1-2 hours before using them in a full-intensity game to allow the upper materials to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: After each use on natural grass, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft-bristled brush. Wipe down the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary.
- Drying: Always air-dry your boots at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, hair dryers, or direct sunlight, as these can damage the materials and cause the glue to degrade.
- Storage: Keep the boots in a cool, dry place. Using a shoe tree can help maintain the shape of the boots when they are not in use.
- Compatibility: These boots are strictly designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. Using them on abrasive surfaces like concrete or heavily rubber-filled artificial grass may cause premature wear to the outsole.
