The THE RUGS Moodi Shaggy Rug is an excellent choice for homeowners looking to add both visual interest and tactile comfort to their living spaces. Featuring a plush 30 mm high pile and a modern geometric pattern, this rug is ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, and hallways where a cosy atmosphere is desired. While it offers impressive softness and durability through its polypropylene and polyester blend, users should note that the high-pile nature requires consistent maintenance to keep it looking fresh and free of debris.

Yes, the durable polypropylene and polyester blend is designed to be pet-friendly and resilient against daily activity.
Yes, it can be used over carpet, though a rug pad is recommended to prevent 'creeping' or sliding.
Blot the spill immediately with a clean, white cloth. Avoid scrubbing, as this can damage the pile texture.
Yes, the rug is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems.
The rug is engineered to be non-shedding, though you may find loose fibers from the manufacturing process during the first few vacuums.
The rug features a plush 30 mm high pile for maximum softness.
Unroll the rug in the opposite direction or place heavy books on corners for 24 hours to help the fibers settle.
Use a light mist of water on the indentation and gently fluff the fibers with your fingers or a soft brush.
Use a vacuum cleaner on a high-pile or 'shag' setting, and avoid using a powerful rotating brush bar which can pull at the fibers.
When you first receive your rug, unroll it in the desired location and allow it to lay flat for 24 to 48 hours; any temporary wrinkles from packaging will naturally smooth out. This rug is compatible with most standard floor types including hardwood, tile, and laminate. For safety on slippery surfaces, consider using a non-slip rug pad underneath to prevent movement. To care for your rug, vacuum it regularly on a low-suction setting without a beater bar to avoid damaging the fibers. For spills, act quickly by blotting with a clean, dry cloth—do not rub the area, as this can force the liquid deeper into the pile. If a deeper clean is required, a professional rug cleaning service is recommended.
