FAQs
Does this awning require electricity?
The lighting component requires an electrical connection to power the LEDs, but the retraction mechanism itself is entirely manual.
Can I install this on any wall?
It should be installed on a structurally sound, load-bearing wall. Consult a professional if you are unsure about the strength of your mounting surface.
Is the awning fabric waterproof?
The materials are chosen for weather resistance, but the primary purpose is sun protection. It is recommended to retract the awning during heavy storms or high winds.
How do I clean the awning fabric?
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and clean with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the protective coating.
Can I operate this if I have limited mobility?
The manual system requires physical turning of a crank. If this is a concern, you may want to look into electric retractable models.
Troubleshooting
Awning is difficult to extend or retract
Check the arm mechanisms for any debris or obstructions and ensure the wall-mounted brackets are perfectly level.
LED lights do not turn on
Verify the electrical connection to the LED power source and ensure that no wires have been pinched or disconnected during installation.
Canopy looks uneven when extended
Check that both sides of the manual retracting arms are engaging simultaneously and that the fabric is properly tracked on the roller.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of this awning requires a stable, load-bearing wall. Ensure you have the necessary tools for masonry or stud mounting, depending on your wall material. Because this is a manual unit, verify that the handle area remains clear of obstructions for smooth operation. For care, regularly sweep the fabric to remove loose debris such as leaves or dust. If the canopy becomes wet, it is recommended to retract it only once it has dried to prevent mildew buildup. Inspect the mounting hardware periodically to ensure that the brackets remain tight and the structure stays rigid against the wall.
