Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started
- Initial Fit: When trying on your new Puma Future 7 Match shoes, ensure they fit snugly but comfortably. There should be minimal space around your toes and heel.
- Lacing: Experiment with different lacing techniques to achieve your desired lockdown. The FUZIONFIT360 upper is designed to adapt, so proper lacing can enhance its supportive qualities.
- Break-in Period: Like most soccer shoes, a short break-in period may be beneficial to allow the materials to conform to your foot shape. Wear them during light training sessions before competitive matches.
Compatibility
These shoes feature an FG/AG soleplate, meaning they are explicitly designed and suitable for:
- Firm Natural Surfaces (FG): Traditional grass pitches.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Specifically 4G artificial turf.
Avoid using these shoes on indoor courts, concrete, or very soft/muddy natural grass, as this can damage the soleplate and compromise performance and safety.
Care & Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and performance of your Puma Future 7 Match soccer shoes, follow these care instructions:
- Clean After Each Use: Remove excess dirt and mud immediately after play using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Hand Wash Only: If deeper cleaning is needed, hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Air Dry: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, which can damage materials. Stuffing with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Using a shoe bag can protect them from dust and scratches.
