Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your new Nike Phantom 6 Elite Low x Haaland FG boots may feel snug initially. We recommend a short 'break-in' period during light training sessions to allow the materials to conform to your foot shape for optimal comfort and performance. Wear them for 20-30 minute intervals a few times before full-intensity matches.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means they are best suited for natural grass fields that are firm or slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or very hard/dry surfaces may cause premature wear to the studs and soleplate, and could also affect your stability and increase the risk of injury. Always ensure your boots match the playing surface.
Care
To ensure the longevity of your boots and maintain their performance:
- Cleaning: After each use, gently brush off loose dirt and grass. Use a damp cloth with mild soap to wipe down the upper. For the soleplate, use a brush to remove mud and debris from between the studs. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with newspaper stuffed inside to absorb moisture and help retain their shape.
- Chrome/Lacquer Coating: Please note that the chrome and lacquer coating on certain elements of this boot, particularly the soleplate, is decorative. It is normal for this coating to wear off during play, revealing the underlying material. This is a cosmetic effect and will not affect the structural integrity or performance of the product.
