FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for marathon training?
Yes, the Adizero EVO SL is designed for versatility and can handle various training distances, including long-distance prep.
Can I use these for gym workouts?
While primarily a road-running shoe, the stable midsole makes them acceptable for light gym activities, though they are optimized for forward motion.
How do I ensure I have the right fit?
The Adizero EVO SL follows a standard fit. We recommend measuring your foot at the end of the day to account for natural swelling.
Is the material waterproof?
No, the textile upper is designed for high breathability, meaning it will absorb water if exposed to heavy rain.
How do I choose the right size for Adizero shoes?
Use your standard athletic shoe size as a baseline. Since the upper is lightweight, it should feel snug without creating pressure points.
What is the primary benefit of LightstrikePro?
LightstrikePro is adidas's high-end foam that provides extreme lightweight cushioning and a snappy, responsive feel for fast running.
Troubleshooting
Feeling of slipping or instability inside the shoe
Adjust the lace tightness to ensure a secure lockdown. Ensure you are wearing the correct thickness of athletic socks.
Midsole foam feels less responsive over time
Allow the foam to decompress by resting the shoes for 24-48 hours between intense training runs.
Outer sole picking up debris
Periodically clean the grooves in the rubber outsole using a soft brush to maintain maximum road contact.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Adizero EVO SL trainers, follow these guidelines:
Setup: Ensure you are wearing appropriate running socks to match the slim fit of the upper. Lace the shoes firmly but allow for natural foot swelling during runs.
Compatibility: These trainers are best suited for running on paved roads, tracks, or smooth concrete paths. They are not designed for trail running or heavy off-road terrain.
Care: Avoid machine washing. To clean, remove loose dirt with a soft brush and wipe the textile upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow the shoes to air dry away from direct sunlight or high heat sources, which can warp the foam midsoles.
