The Nike Premier III FG boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces, meaning natural grass pitches that are dry to slightly damp. They provide optimal traction and performance on these surfaces.
After use, wipe off excess mud and dirt with a damp cloth or soft brush. Avoid using harsh soaps. Stuff the boots with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain shape, then air dry away from direct heat. Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the material supple.
Yes, as they are made from natural leather, the upper will naturally stretch and mold to the unique shape of your foot over time, providing a more custom and comfortable fit.
It is not recommended to use FG boots on artificial turf. The stud configuration of FG boots is not suitable for AG pitches and can lead to premature wear of the studs, damage to the pitch, and potential injury to the player.
It's best to try them on to ensure a comfortable fit. Football boots should generally feel snug, but not uncomfortably tight, with minimal space at the toe. Consider wearing the type of socks you'd typically use for playing when trying them on.
Ensure boots are properly broken in. Wear suitable football socks that reduce friction and wick away moisture. Verify you have the correct size; boots that are too loose or too tight can cause issues. Consider taping susceptible areas of your foot.
Confirm you are playing on a firm ground pitch, as these boots are not designed for artificial turf or extremely soft, muddy surfaces. Clean the studs thoroughly after each use to remove any trapped debris that could reduce traction. Ensure studs are not excessively worn down.
Regularly clean and condition the leather using a dedicated leather conditioner. Avoid drying the boots with direct heat, which can strip natural oils and cause cracking. Store them in a cool, dry place.
