No, machine washing can damage the internal ABZORB cushioning system and the structural adhesive; it is best to spot clean them by hand.
The New Balance 2000 Lace trainers feature a standard fit; while the material is accommodating, they are not specifically marketed as a wide-fit model.
These trainers are specifically designed for kids and youth sizing.
Yes, the insoles are removable if you need to air them out or replace them with custom orthotics.
The ABZORB cushioning and SBS pods provide a neutral, supportive base suitable for most children's daily activities.
Store them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent the materials from fading or becoming brittle.
Ensure the laces are tied with a double knot or use a runner's loop to keep them secure during intense play.
Use a soft-bristled brush or a damp cloth with mild soap to spot clean the fabric, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners.
Gently flex the sole by hand and wear them for short periods to allow the ABZORB material to regain its natural flexibility.
To ensure the best experience, ensure you have the correct UK size, as these trainers are fitted for children and youth. For maintenance, keep the minimalist upper clean by wiping down with a damp cloth; avoid machine washing to preserve the integrity of the ABZORB pods and adhesive. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the materials over time.
