This Karen Millen Knit Jacket is designed for the modern adult female seeking a sophisticated and structured outerwear piece. Its key benefit lies in its versatile military-inspired design with elegant contrast piping, perfect for transitioning from professional settings to evening events. A potential caveat is its figure-forming slim fit, which may require careful consideration of sizing for optimal comfort and drape. Key features include a crew neckline, decorative gold-tone buttons, functional front zip, split hem, and structured shoulders.

The jacket is crafted from a bandage knit material, often a blend that includes polyester, designed for a structured and figure-forming fit.
Pair it with tailored wide-leg trousers or a sleek pencil skirt. A sophisticated blouse or fine-knit top underneath would complement the jacket's design.
While designed with a formal aesthetic, it can be dressed down with dark wash denim and elegant heels for a smart-casual look, though it leans more towards formal styling.
The split hem adds a modern design element and enhances ease of movement, preventing the jacket from feeling restrictive when sitting or walking.
The gold-tone buttons are decorative elements featured on the chest pockets and are typically non-functional.
Refer to the care label for precise instructions. Generally, hand wash or dry clean is recommended to preserve the fabric and shape. Avoid bleach and tumble drying.
Yes, the jacket features chest pockets that are adorned with decorative gold-tone buttons.
Ensure you have selected the correct size. Consider the slim fit design; if a looser fit is desired, sizing up may be an option, though this could affect the intended silhouette. Consult the size guide for precise measurements.
Gently try to tease the snagged thread back into place with a fine needle. Avoid pulling or stretching the fabric around the snag. For more significant damage, professional tailoring may be required.
Ensure the jacket is being cleaned according to the care label. Harsh chemicals or improper washing can affect the piping. If color bleeding occurs, seek professional cleaning advice immediately.
Hang the jacket on a padded hanger immediately after wear. If wrinkles persist, try steaming the garment on a low setting, keeping the steamer at a distance from the fabric. Avoid direct ironing unless explicitly recommended by the care label.
This garment is ready to wear straight out of packaging. Compatibility is primarily with other formal or tailored separates. For care, it is recommended to adhere to the specific cleaning instructions on the garment's care label. Typically, garments of this nature require gentle hand washing or dry cleaning to maintain the integrity of the knit and the vibrancy of the contrast piping. Avoid harsh detergents and tumble drying to preserve the fabric's shape and texture.
