FAQs
What is the main purpose of the Airtrap Technology?
Airtrap Technology is designed to trap air within the fabric, providing excellent insulation and warmth without adding bulk, making the fleece lightweight and comfortable.
How does the anti-pilling fabric benefit the fleece?
The anti-pilling fabric treatment prevents the formation of small balls (pills) on the surface of the material, ensuring the fleece maintains a smooth appearance and soft feel even after repeated wear and washing.
Can this fleece be worn in very cold or wet weather?
The fleece provides good warmth on its own for mild conditions. For very cold or wet weather, it is best used as a mid-layer underneath a waterproof and insulated jacket to provide an additional thermal layer.
Is there a children's version available?
Yes, the product information mentions a matching kids version called the Kids Half Zip Fleece Uliston.
What is the weight of the fabric?
The fabric is a lightweight 160gsm (grams per square meter).
How do I adjust the warmth with the 1/2 zip neck?
You can unzip the neck to allow for more airflow and cooling when you feel warm, or zip it up to trap heat and provide more warmth when you feel cold.
Where can I purchase this fleece?
This specific product is exclusively available for purchase online.
Troubleshooting
Fleece feels too tight or too loose.
Ensure you have selected the correct size. Refer to the size guide for measurements. This variant is a UK size 12 (Medium).
Zipper is difficult to move.
Check for any fabric obstructions. Ensure the locking puller is in the correct position. Gently try to move the zipper up and down. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Fleece has lost some of its warmth.
Ensure the fleece is clean. Dirt and oils can affect the insulating properties. Follow the care instructions for washing. For significant loss of warmth, the material may be nearing the end of its optimal lifespan.
