Troubleshooting

The fixing does not seem secure.

Ensure the correct drill bit size (6 mm) was used, and that the Hammerfix N-S is fully inserted and the nail screw is hammered in completely.

The plug expands prematurely during insertion.

Make sure you are not hammering at an angle, and that the hole is the correct size. The integrated hammer-in stop should prevent this, but check for any obstructions.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup

Drilling: Use a 6 mm drill bit to create a hole in the base material (brick or concrete).
Insertion: Insert the Hammerfix N-S through the timber component and into the drilled hole.
Hammering: Hammer the nail screw until the plug is flush with the timber surface, ensuring the fixing sleeve expands.
