Converse Chuck Taylors typically run large. It is often recommended to go down half a size from your standard sneaker size.
No, machine washing is not recommended as it can damage the leather and the integrity of the shoe's construction.
The leather is water-resistant, meaning it can handle light rain, but it is not fully waterproof.
Over time, light-colored leather can discolor if exposed to intense UV light; store them in a dark place to preserve the 'Pure White' shade.
The silhouette is relatively narrow. If you have wide feet, you may need to break them in thoroughly or consider a wider fit option.
They typically come with the standard white laces already installed; check your specific box packaging for accessories.
This is a natural characteristic of leather footwear; using shoe trees when not in use can help maintain the shape.
Gently wipe with a melamine sponge (magic eraser) or a specialized leather cleaner for stubborn marks.
Loosen the laces significantly before putting the shoes on to allow the leather to flex and gradually conform to your foot shape.
Out of the box, these shoes are ready to wear. Because they are made of leather, it is recommended to apply a leather protector spray before the first use to shield them against stains. To clean, use a damp cloth with mild soap for surface dirt; avoid machine washing, as the heat and agitation can damage the leather or cause the glue to weaken. Ensure you store them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent the white material from yellowing over time.
