Product Information

Full details

The eXtreme Comfort ComfortCore 1000 is an ideal choice for sleepers seeking a balance between responsive support and a stable, medium-firm feel. Featuring a 1000-count pocket spring system and a specialized Ortho Bubble surface, it is designed for those who prioritize spinal alignment and motion isolation. A notable caveat is that as a tufted mattress, it provides a firm, structured sleep surface that may require an adjustment period for individuals accustomed to plush memory foam toppers.

FAQs

Does this mattress require a special bed frame?

No, it is compatible with most standard bed frames, including slatted bases and platform foundations.

How do I clean the surface?

Use a light vacuum attachment to remove dust and a slightly damp, clean cloth for spot cleaning. Avoid soaking the fabric.

Can I flip the mattress?

No, this is a non-flip, one-sided mattress, but you should rotate it head-to-toe every three to six months.

How long until I can sleep on it?

It is recommended to wait at least 24 hours to allow the mattress to fully recover its shape and firmness after unrolling.

Is the fabric hypoallergenic?

The Ortho Bubble fabric is moisture-wicking and breathable, which helps maintain a hygienic sleep surface, though it is not explicitly labeled as hypoallergenic.

Troubleshooting

Mattress feels uneven or lumpy after unboxing

Allow the mattress to sit for 48 hours in a well-ventilated room to fully expand and settle into its intended form.

Surface feels too firm

Give your body time to adjust to the support of the pocket springs; if comfort remains an issue, consider a thin breathable mattress topper.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Independent spring movement minimizes disturbance from partners
Breathable fabric helps regulate sleep temperature
High-grade European steel offers long-lasting durability
Easy transport due to the rolled and boxed delivery method

Cons

Tufted surface may feel too firm for those preferring a soft, sinking feel
Requires time to fully expand after unboxing
One-sided design means it cannot be flipped, though it can be rotated

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Upon delivery, place the box in your chosen room before unboxing. Carefully cut the vacuum-sealed plastic to allow the mattress to regain its shape; while it will expand quickly, it is recommended to let it aerate for at least 24 hours before use. This mattress is compatible with slatted bases, platform beds, or standard box springs. To maintain the life of the mattress, rotate it head-to-toe every few months to ensure even wear across the spring system, as the tufted design prevents it from being flipped over.
