Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the rug and place it in your desired location. Allow it a few hours to naturally flatten out. If the edges curl slightly, you can place heavy objects (like books) on the corners overnight to help it settle flat.
Compatibility: This rug is suitable for most indoor floor types, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and low-pile carpet. Its low profile makes it compatible with most doors that require clearance underneath. It is not specifically recommended for use with rug pads for extra cushioning, as its design prioritizes flatness.
Care:
- Vacuuming: Regularly vacuum the rug using a standard vacuum cleaner without a beater bar if possible, or set the beater bar to its highest setting to avoid snagging the fibers.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spills or stains, use a clean, damp cloth with a small amount of mild detergent. Blot the affected area gently; do not rub vigorously. Rinse the area with a clean, damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely.
- Deep Cleaning: For more thorough cleaning, professional rug cleaning is recommended. Avoid machine washing or soaking, as this can damage the cotton fibers and the rug's structure.
