Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Adirondack Meridian boots, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Wear the boots for short durations initially to allow the leather to conform to your feet.
- Cleaning: Wipe away salt, dirt, or snow with a soft, damp cloth after every use. Avoid submerging the boots in water.
- Drying: Always air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators or fireplaces, which can crack the leather.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods. Use cedar shoe trees if available to maintain the boot's shape.
- Maintenance: Apply a leather-specific conditioner or waterproof spray periodically to maintain the suppleness of the outer leather.
