Full details

The VEVOR 4-in-1 Hand Truck is a versatile material handling solution designed for warehouse workers, professional movers, and homeowners who need to transport heavy items safely. Its primary benefit is the adaptable, convertible frame that switches between 2-wheel and 4-wheel configurations to suit different load types, though users should be aware that the high load capacity requires careful balancing to maintain stability on uneven surfaces.

FAQs

What is the maximum weight this truck can carry?

It can carry up to 1000 lbs in 4-wheel mode and 800 lbs in 2-wheel mode.

Are the wheels air-filled?

No, the truck features solid, puncture-resistant PU wheels, so you never have to worry about inflating them or getting flats.

Can this be used on grass or gravel?

While it can handle firm outdoor surfaces, solid wheels perform best on hard, flat surfaces like concrete or asphalt.

Does it require tools for conversion?

No, the hand truck is designed to be converted between its four modes by hand using quick-release pins.

How do I store the unit?

The unit is designed to fold flat, making it easy to store against a wall, in a shed, or inside a vehicle trunk.

Troubleshooting

The frame feels wobbly during use

Check that all locking pins are fully engaged and that the load is balanced evenly across the platform.

Difficult to switch between modes

Ensure the hinge areas are clean of dirt or grit; apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the hinges if needed.

Wheels are not rolling smoothly

Inspect the wheel axles for tangled debris like string or plastic wrap and clean the axle housing.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • High weight capacity for heavy-duty tasks
  • Easy conversion between configurations without extra tools
  • Durable, rust-resistant aluminum construction
  • Puncture-resistant wheels ensure reliability on rough ground
  • Space-saving foldable design

Cons

  • Requires manual effort to transition between configurations
  • Larger footprint in 4-wheel platform mode
  • May be overkill for light, occasional residential tasks

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly is straightforward, requiring only basic mechanical adjustments to engage the locking mechanisms for the different modes. To switch between configurations, pull the release pins and rotate the frame into the desired position until it locks securely into place.

Maintenance Tips:

  • Inspection: Regularly check the locking pins and wheel axels for debris or signs of wear.
  • Cleaning: Clean the aluminum frame with a damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals that could corrode the surface.
  • Storage: When not in use, fold the unit completely and store it in a dry, covered area to preserve the integrity of the wheels and metal frame.
  • Lubrication: Periodically apply a light lubricant to the wheel bearings and hinge points to ensure smooth operation.
