While the shoe is categorized as neutral, its plush cushioning can be beneficial; however, those with severe pronation may require specific orthotics.
Yes, they are suitable for treadmill runs and general fitness, though they are optimized primarily for forward-motion running.
On average, running shoes like the GEL-CUMULUS 27 last between 300 to 500 miles depending on your running surface and gait.
The upper is made of mesh for breathability and is not waterproof; they may absorb water in heavy rain.
Most users find them comfortable out of the box, but a few short walks or light jogs are recommended to allow the foam to adapt to your foot shape.
Adjust the lacing technique using the top eyelet to create a runner's loop, which secures the heel better.
Ensure you are using moisture-wicking synthetic running socks rather than thick cotton socks to improve airflow.
Check the midsole for debris or compacted dirt; if the foam remains compressed, it may be time to assess the mileage on the shoe.
To ensure your ASICS GEL-CUMULUS 27 provides the best performance, it is essential to get the right fit; at a UK 7.5, these are designed with adult female sizing standards. When setting them up, ensure the laces are snug but not tight across the midfoot to allow the mesh upper to flex naturally.
