Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your shoes, ensure the pre-installed cleat is positioned correctly for your riding style. If you use a non-Crankbrothers pedal, you may need to remove the included shim to achieve the correct depth. Always double-check your cleat bolts after the first few rides to ensure they remain tight.
For care, remove excess mud after every ride using a soft-bristled brush. If the shoes become soaked, remove the insoles and stuff the interior with newspaper to draw out moisture slowly. Avoid using direct heat sources like hair dryers or heaters, as this can degrade the synthetic materials and the adhesive in the sole.
