The Mallet BOA is the ideal choice for riders looking to pair with Mallet DH pedals for trail riding. It features an extended 5mm track length for a lower cleat position, enhancing control and stability on aggressive descents. The upper is equipped with a BOA Fit System and strap for precise micro-adjustments, and a lace pocket for a clean, secure finish. Ventilated windows with perforated mesh ensure breathability, while a padded tongue offers protection. TPU reinforced areas provide durability and abrasion resistance, and internal heel dots ensure a secure fit. The outsole is designed with a Match Box optimized for all MTB pedals, featuring race zone cleat placement for control and stability. A ramp facilitates easy clip-in/clip-out and mud clearance. It comes with pre-installed Crankbrothers Match Shim and Cleat, ready for immediate use. The shoes can also be used with any brand of SPD cleat by removing the grey Match Shim. The MC1 mid-friction rubber compound allows for easy pedal exit, and directional, angled lugs on the toe and heel provide traction for hiking. A ramped toe enhances walkability, and a stiff shank ensures efficient power transfer. The cushioned EVA midsole absorbs shock. Sizing is based on a USA last, so select your UK shoe size. The fit is true to size, available in sizes 4-13, with half sizes from 5.5-11.5.
