Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced securely but not overly tight. Start lacing from the bottom eyelets and work your way up, pulling each section snug. A secure fit is essential for optimal support and preventing blisters.
- Break-in Period: While the K-BETTER upper is designed for flexibility, a short break-in period of 1-2 training sessions is recommended. This allows the material to fully mold to the unique shape of your foot, maximizing comfort and performance.
Compatibility
These Puma King Ultimate boots are explicitly designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are engineered for use on natural grass pitches that are dry and relatively hard. Using them on other surfaces, such as artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or very abrasive indoor surfaces, is not recommended as it can:
- Accelerate wear and tear on the soleplate and studs.
- Compromise grip and stability, potentially leading to injury.
- Potentially void product warranties.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after each use, remove excess mud and dirt from the upper and soleplate. Use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) for the studs and a damp cloth for the upper. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Always air dry your boots naturally. Stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight, as this can cause the material to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them from scuffs and scratches during transport.
- Follow Care Instructions: Always refer to any specific care labels or instructions provided with your product for detailed guidance.
