FAQs
What material are the New Balance 650R Canyon trainers made of?
The specific materials can vary slightly, but this variant typically features a leather upper for durability and style, combined with other materials for comfort and structure.
Are these trainers suitable for running or sports?
The 650R Canyon is designed primarily for lifestyle and casual wear, offering comfort and style. While they provide support, they are not specialized for high-impact sports or running.
How do I find the right size if I'm outside the UK?
Consult the New Balance official website or the retailer's size conversion chart, which typically lists international shoe size equivalents for UK, US, and EU sizing.
Can I machine wash these sneakers?
No, machine washing is not recommended as it can damage the materials, construction, and adhesives of the shoe. Hand wash or spot clean as per care instructions.
What is the warranty period for New Balance shoes?
New Balance typically offers a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Specific warranty periods can vary by region and retailer; it's best to check with the point of purchase or the official New Balance website for details.
Does this model come in other colors?
The 650R series is available in various colorways. While this specific product is the white 'Canyon' variant, other colors might be available through different listings or retailers.
Troubleshooting
Sizing feels incorrect.
Ensure you have confirmed your foot measurement against New Balance's sizing chart for UK sizes. If available, try them on in-store or check the return policy of the retailer.
Leather appears creased or scuffed.
Minor creases are normal with leather. For scuffs, use a leather cleaner or polish appropriate for white leather. Condition the leather periodically to keep it supple.
Shoes feel stiff initially.
New leather shoes often require a 'break-in' period. Wear them for short periods initially and gradually increase the duration. Walking in them can help soften the leather.

Setup: These sneakers require no setup; they are ready to wear out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size (UK 13 in this case) for optimal comfort.
Compatibility: The New Balance 650R Canyon is designed for general adult use and pairs well with a wide range of casual and athleisure clothing. It is suitable for men and can be a unisex option depending on personal style.
Care:
- Cleaning: For minor dirt and scuffs, use a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, especially on the leather.
- Drying: If the shoes get wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. Stuffing them with paper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in a shoe bag or the original box, to protect them from dust and damage.
