FAQs

What material is the polo shirt made of?

It is made from premium, breathable cotton designed for comfort and durability.

How does the 'Regular' fit differ from 'Slim' fit?

The regular fit offers a more traditional, generous cut that provides more room through the torso, whereas the slim fit is tapered closer to the body.

Can I put this shirt in the dryer?

It is recommended to air dry the shirt to prevent the cotton from shrinking and to help the garment maintain its original shape.

Does the logo fade after washing?

The iconic pony embroidery is crafted to be durable, but it is best to wash the shirt inside out to protect the stitching.

Is this suitable for formal events?

This is a smart-casual item; while it is sharp and clean, it is generally intended for casual or business-casual settings rather than formal black-tie events.

Troubleshooting

Collar losing its stiffness

Ensure you are folding the collar down flat during drying rather than leaving it flipped up, and use a cool iron to reset the structure.

Fabric feels tight after washing

Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as cotton can shrink; always air dry the shirt flat to maintain its intended size.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your Polo Ralph Lauren shirt looking its best, follow these care instructions:

Washing: Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle to preserve the fabric color and fiber integrity.
Drying: Air drying is recommended to prevent heat-related shrinkage of the natural cotton.
Ironing: Use a cool iron if necessary to touch up the collar or placket.
Storage: Fold or hang on a quality hanger to ensure the collar maintains its structural integrity.
