Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your adidas Mundial Team trainers is straightforward:
- Lacing: Utilize the classic lace closure system to adjust the fit according to your foot's width and comfort preference. Ensure laces are snug but not overly tight to prevent discomfort.
- Break-In Period: Like most quality leather footwear, these trainers may benefit from a short break-in period. Wear them for short, light sessions initially to allow the leather to mold to your foot shape for optimal comfort.
Compatibility
- Surfaces: These trainers are specifically designed and highly compatible with artificial turf (AG), synthetic turf, and hard ground (HG) surfaces. They are not recommended for soft, natural grass pitches.
- Wearers: Designed as Unisex footwear, suitable for adult players of all genders.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your Mundial Team trainers:
- Cleaning the Upper: After use, especially on dirty surfaces, wipe the leather and suede upper with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, use a specialized leather cleaner and a soft brush for suede sections, following product instructions.
- Cleaning the Outsole: Use a brush (a stiff brush for persistent dirt) and water to clean the studs and grooves of the rubber outsole. Remove any trapped turf pellets or mud.
- Drying: Allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can dry out and crack the leather.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Leather Conditioning: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the leather soft, supple, and prevent drying or cracking.
