Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Fit: Ensure the boots are laced securely but not excessively tight, allowing the tunnel tongue and Fiberskin upper to mold to your foot. Walk around briefly to get a feel for the fit. Expect a slight snugness initially, which will ease with wear.
Compatibility: These boots are specifically designed for *soft ground* (SG) pitches, which are typically natural grass surfaces that are wet or muddy. They are not recommended for firm ground, artificial grass, or hard indoor surfaces, as the stud configuration may not provide optimal performance and could lead to premature wear or injury.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners. Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature; do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, preferably in a breathable boot bag. Avoid storing them in sealed plastic bags, which can trap moisture and lead to odor or material degradation.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the studs for wear and tear. Ensure laces are kept clean and free of debris.
