The Regatta Montes Fleece is a versatile midlayer designed for active women who enjoy outdoor pursuits like hiking, running, or casual walks. Its key benefit is the lightweight, bulk-free design that provides essential warmth without restricting movement, making it an excellent choice for layering. However, users should note that the 140gsm fleece is thin, meaning it serves better as a performance base or midlayer rather than a standalone heavy-duty jacket in extreme cold.

No, the Regatta Montes is made from a lightweight, breathable microfleece designed for movement, which is permeable to wind. It is best paired with a windproof or waterproof shell.
Yes, its soft material and close-fit design make it comfortable against the skin, although it is often used as a midlayer over a dedicated moisture-wicking base layer.
The product follows standard UK women's dress sizing. Refer to the Regatta size guide and consider if you plan to wear thick layers underneath when choosing your size.
Like most microfleece materials, the Montes fleece is durable but should be washed inside out to minimize friction and prevent surface pilling over time.
No, this specific model is designed for a bulk-free fit and does not feature pockets.
Check if fabric softener was used, which clogs the fibers. Wash again without softener to restore breathability.
Lightly mist the inside with a small amount of water or use an anti-static spray if the air is very dry.
Because this is a technical midlayer, proper care will extend its functional life. Machine wash the fleece on a cool setting, ideally using a non-biological detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can coat the polyester fibers and reduce their moisture-wicking properties. For drying, air drying is recommended; avoid high-heat tumble drying to prevent the synthetic fibers from shrinking or becoming stiff. When layering, this fleece fits best under standard outdoor shells that provide weather protection, as the microfleece itself is not windproof or waterproof.
