Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last for years, proper care is essential. Upon purchase, ensure you wear the boots for short periods initially to facilitate the break-in process without causing discomfort. For cleaning, use a damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt after use. Never machine wash these boots, as water submersion and heat can damage the leather and the integrity of the welt. Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent cracking, especially if you live in a dry climate. Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct, intense heat sources, such as radiators or fireplaces, which can dehydrate the leather.
