Full details
The adidas Rapidmove Go Trainers are high-performance athletic shoes designed for adult men who prioritize agility and stability during HIIT sessions or gym workouts. These trainers leverage advanced Lightmotion cushioning for responsive comfort and a Climacool mesh upper to ensure superior breathability during high-intensity training. While they offer excellent versatility for multi-directional movement, users should note that they are specifically engineered for gym and studio environments rather than long-distance running or heavy outdoor trail use.

FAQs
Are these shoes good for long-distance running?
No, these are specialized trainers for HIIT and gym workouts. They lack the extensive energy return and impact protection required for long-distance road running.
What is the weight of the shoe?
Each shoe weighs approximately 275 grams, making them very lightweight for training.
Can I use my own custom insoles?
Yes, the provided sockliner can often be removed to accommodate low-profile custom orthotic insoles, though the shoe is designed to provide optimal performance with the stock interior.
Is the mesh upper waterproof?
No, the Climacool mesh is designed for maximum breathability and airflow, which means it will allow moisture to pass through.
What does the 8 mm drop mean?
The drop refers to the difference in height between the heel (23 mm) and the forefoot (14 mm). This drop is ideal for athletic training as it provides stability while keeping you close to the ground.
Troubleshooting
Feeling of slipping inside the shoe during lateral movements
Ensure the laces are tightened using the eyelets correctly and consider a 'runner's loop' or 'lock lace' technique to secure the heel.
Accumulation of dust or debris in the mesh
Use a dry, soft brush to clear the mesh pores, or tap the soles together gently to dislodge trapped particles.
Reduced grip on the gym floor
Wipe the rubber outsole with a slightly damp cloth to remove floor wax or dust build-up that can compromise traction.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- Highly breathable design prevents overheating
- Excellent responsiveness for explosive movements

- Less durable on rough abrasive outdoor terrain
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best fit, these trainers utilize a standard regular fit; it is recommended to wear your usual athletic shoe size. Since these are performance trainers, they are compatible with standard gym socks but perform best with moisture-wicking synthetic athletic socks to complement the Climacool ventilation system.
Care Instructions:
- Remove loose dirt after every workout using a soft-bristled brush.
- To clean, wipe the mesh upper with a damp cloth and mild soap; do not submerge the shoes fully in water.
- Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can damage the foam midsole.
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can degrade the bonded overlays and foam structure.
