Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Columbia Crestwood hiking shoes, it is recommended to break them in on shorter walks before heading out on long, strenuous hikes. Compatibility with different hiking socks is high, though thicker wool-blend socks are suggested for better moisture management. For care, keep the leather exterior clean by wiping away mud with a damp cloth after every hike. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area—never use a direct heat source like a radiator, as this can crack or degrade the leather and adhesive components.
