The Trespass Bligh Padded Waterproof Jacket is an ideal outer layer for active kids who enjoy outdoor play regardless of the weather. Designed with a focus on protection and comfort, this jacket keeps young explorers dry and warm using high-quality polyester and effective waterproof construction. While it offers excellent thermal insulation and weather resistance, users should note that as a dedicated outdoor jacket, it is best utilized for active outings rather than as a primary layer for extreme sub-zero conditions.

Yes, it can be machine washed on a gentle, cool cycle, but avoid fabric softeners.
Yes, the jacket features a detachable hood for added flexibility.
It provides warmth and waterproofing, making it suitable for light snow and winter walks, but it is not a heavy-duty expedition parka.
The jacket is constructed from high-quality, durable polyester.
Yes, the jacket includes taped seams to prevent water from leaking through the stitching.
Use the adjustable cuffs to tighten the sleeves and ensure the size selected aligns with the child's current UK clothing size measurements.
The DWR coating may need refreshing; wash the jacket properly and apply a recommended waterproof re-proofing spray.
Ensure the attachment points are fully secured and check if the jacket allows for internal adjustments to the hood fit.
To ensure the jacket maintains its performance, avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproof treatment. It is recommended to wash on a cool, gentle cycle and allow the garment to air dry away from direct heat sources, which can damage the synthetic padding. When storing, keep the jacket in a dry, well-ventilated area. If the water-repellent coating starts to fade over long periods of heavy use, you may apply a specialized DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray to restore its protective capabilities.
