The Desire Rugs Comfy Washable Rug is designed for homeowners and renters seeking a balance of minimalist aesthetics and high-utility maintenance. Ideal for high-traffic areas like entryways, kitchens, or living rooms, this rug provides a soft 22mm low-pile surface that is both comfortable and remarkably easy to clean. While it offers excellent durability and an anti-slip backing, users should note that the 50cm x 80cm dimensions are best suited for smaller spaces, accent placement, or as a bedside runner rather than covering large floor areas.

Yes, it is designed to be machine washable. Please use a gentle cycle and mild detergent.
No, it features a built-in anti-slip PVC dot and felt backing, so no additional padding is required.
Yes, the PVC backing is designed to be safe for use on most hard floor surfaces, including hardwood and laminate.
While it is durable, it is primarily designed as an indoor living room or hallway rug. If used in a bathroom, ensure it is thoroughly dried after becoming wet.
The rug is made with quality materials; however, like all textiles, keeping it out of direct, intense sunlight will help maintain the vibrancy of the black color.
The rug measures 50cm in width and 80cm in height.
Ensure the floor surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or wax, which can interfere with the grip of the PVC dots.
Lay the rug flat in a warm area and smooth it out by hand; the folds will naturally relax within 24 to 48 hours.
Use a standard vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment or a manual lint roller to remove particles from the low pile.
To set up, simply unroll the rug in your desired location; the anti-slip PVC dot backing will begin to grip the floor immediately. For best results, ensure the floor is clean and dry before placement. If the rug arrives with temporary folds from shipping, place it flat for 24 hours to allow it to settle. For care, vacuum regularly to remove surface dust. When washing, use a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Always air dry or tumble dry on a low-heat setting to preserve the integrity of the non-slip backing.
