FAQs

How much filler do I need to mix?

Mix 2 parts filler with 1 part water by volume. Mix thoroughly to form a smooth paste. Approximately 3L of water is required to mix a full 5 Kg bag and approximately 6L of water is required to mix a full 10 Kg bag.

What is the drying time?

Drying time is approximately 3.5 hours per 5mm layer, depending on temperature and humidity.

Can I use this filler outdoors?

No, this filler is suitable for indoor use only.

How should I prepare the surface before applying the filler?

Remove any loose or flaking material. Ensure the surface is clean (no dirt or grease) and dry. Cover nail and screw heads with an oil-based paint prior to application to prevent rusting. Highly absorbent and/or powdery surfaces need to be sealed in advance.

How do I clean my tools after use?

Clean tools and utensils in warm water immediately after use.

Can I paint directly over the filler?

Yes, once the filler is completely dry, you can paint over it. For best results, apply two top coats of paint.

What is the shelf life of the filler?

The shelf life depends on storage conditions. Store in a cool, dry place and seal the container tightly after each use.

Troubleshooting

Filler is not sanding smoothly.

Ensure the filler is completely dry. Use a medium-grit sandpaper and apply gentle pressure while sanding.

Filler is shrinking after drying.

Ensure the product is mixed correctly, and apply the filler in multiple thin layers if filling a deep hole.

Filler cracking after drying.

This can happen if applied in thick layers. Apply in thinner layers, allowing each to dry completely before the next. Also, ensure the surface is clean before application.
