Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Preparation and Setup
Crucial Step: Perform a Patch Test: Always conduct a skin allergy patch test 48 hours before *each* use, even if you've coloured your hair before. This is vital to prevent severe allergic reactions.
- Read Instructions: Thoroughly read the entire instruction leaflet provided in the box before you begin.
- Gather Supplies: Ensure you have gloves (provided), a non-metallic bowl (if not using applicator bottle), a towel, and a timer.
- Prepare Hair: Do not wash your hair immediately before colouring. Ideally, colour on dry, unwashed hair to allow natural oils to protect the scalp.
- Mix Colour: Put on the provided gloves. Pour the entire tube of caring colouring cream into the developer bottle. Close the developer bottle and shake vigorously until the mixture is uniform.
Application Steps (Triple Care Colour Regime)
- Apply Colour: Use the comb applicator to apply the mixed colour to dry, unwashed hair. Start at the roots, then work through to the ends, ensuring even saturation. For root touch-ups, apply to roots first, then emulsify through ends for the last few minutes.
- Wait: Leave the colour on for the recommended time specified in the instruction leaflet (typically under 30 minutes). Do not exceed this time.
- Rinse & Shampoo: Once the time is up, thoroughly rinse your hair with warm water until the water runs clear. Then, apply the caring scalp shampoo, gently massage, and rinse.
- Condition: Apply the caring lightweight mask to your hair, leave on for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly. This step helps to nourish hair and lock in colour and shine.
Compatibility
- Hair Type: The non-drip crème formula is suitable for all hair types.
- Previous Colour: Effective on virgin hair, previously coloured hair, and for grey coverage.
Ongoing Care
- Use Post-Colour Mask: Continue to use the provided caring lightweight mask or a colour-safe conditioner regularly to maintain hair health and colour vibrancy.
- Colour-Safe Products: Use shampoos and conditioners specifically designed for coloured hair to prolong the life of your shade.
- Limit Heat Styling: Excessive heat can cause colour to fade faster. Use heat protectants if styling with heat tools.
- Protect from Sun: Prolonged sun exposure can lighten hair colour. Consider using UV-protective hair products or wearing a hat outdoors.
