The HOKA Bondi 9 is designed for runners and walkers seeking maximum cushioning and comfort for high-mileage training or daily wear. As a premium, ultra-cushioned road shoe, it excels at absorbing impact on hard surfaces, though its substantial stack height may feel less responsive to those who prefer a ground-feel oriented racing shoe. With an overhauled construction, this iteration prioritizes a soft, resilient ride through a new premium midsole foam and improved structural support.

Yes, HOKA offers various width options, indicated by suffixes like 'EE'. Always check the specific MPN to ensure you are ordering the correct width.
The Bondi 9 is designed specifically for road and paved surfaces. While stable, the outsole lacks the deep, aggressive lugs needed for technical trail terrain.
Generally, running shoes lose their structural integrity and cushioning between 300 and 500 miles, depending on your weight, running style, and surface.
While the foam is soft immediately, it is recommended to walk or take short runs in them for a few days to allow the upper to adapt to your foot shape.
The Bondi 9 is engineered for maximum cushion. If you prefer a firm or 'ground-feel' ride, this may feel too soft, but it is ideal for recovery and high-impact protection.
Use the extra eyelet at the top of the lacing system to create a 'runner's knot' for a more secure lockdown.
Use a soft brush or a cloth dampened with cool water; do not submerge or use harsh chemical cleaners.
Monitor your gait cycle; if wear is extreme on one side, consider a professional gait analysis to check for biomechanical imbalances.
To ensure the longest lifespan, verify that your HOKA Bondi 9 fit is secure, allowing roughly a thumb's width of space in the toe box. When lacing, use the top eyelet (runner's loop) if you experience heel slippage. For care, avoid machine washing or drying the shoes, as high heat can break down the adhesives and midsole foam. Instead, wipe the knit upper with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Allow them to air dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight. If the insoles become saturated, remove them to dry separately to prevent odors.
