Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longest lifespan for your HOKA Challenger 8s, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: Wear your new shoes indoors or on short walks for a few days to allow the upper to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush after each muddy hike. If the shoes become very soiled, wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap; do not submerge or machine wash them.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as high heat can damage the waterproof membrane and adhesives.
- Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid leaving them in a damp, enclosed bag for extended periods to prevent odor buildup.
