Setup, Compatibility & Care
The Challenger 8 does not require a complex break-in period; however, wearing them around the house for a day before a long hike is recommended to ensure the fit is optimal. When caring for these shoes, avoid machine washing, as this can degrade the waterproof membrane. Instead, remove loose dirt after each hike using a soft-bristled brush. If the shoes become muddy, wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, as excessive heat can cause the foam and adhesive components to deform or separate prematurely.
