Rustins Quick Dry Small Job Paint is ideal for individuals undertaking small painting projects on wood or metal, both indoors and outdoors. Its key benefit is its rapid drying time, being touch dry in approximately 30 minutes, allowing for quick project completion. A potential caveat is its limited coverage of 3.25 sq.m. per 250ml can, making it unsuitable for larger areas.

This paint is specifically designed for wood and metal. For plastics, a specialized primer and paint suitable for plastic surfaces would be required.
A 250ml can of Rustins Quick Dry Small Job Paint will cover approximately 3.25 square meters.
While it is a hard-wearing paint, it is not specifically formulated for the high heat of radiators. A radiator-specific paint would be more appropriate.
The paint is touch dry in about 30 minutes and recoatable after 2-4 hours. Full cure and maximum durability can take several days to a week, depending on environmental conditions.
You can mix gloss and satin finishes of the same paint base if necessary, but it's always recommended to test on a small area first. Mixing colors may alter the final sheen and performance characteristics.
When stored correctly in a cool, dry place and kept sealed, the paint typically has a shelf life of 1-2 years. Check the manufacturing date if possible.
As a water-based paint, it has a low odor compared to solvent-based paints, making it more pleasant to use indoors.
Ensure the ambient temperature is suitable (not too cold or humid) and that a sufficient number of coats have been applied without overloading the surface. Check that the product has not exceeded its shelf life.
Stir paint thoroughly before and during use. Apply in thin, even coats using a good quality brush or roller. Avoid overworking the paint.
Ensure the surface was properly prepared (clean, dry, free from grease). Apply a coat of Rustins Quick Drying Primer Undercoat before painting, especially on bare wood or metal.
If the paint seems too thick for application, a very small amount of water (e.g., 10% or less) can be added to aid application, but this may slightly affect the final finish. Ensure the paint has not been stored in freezing temperatures.
Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and flaking paint. For best results, apply Rustins Quick Drying Primer & Undercoat first.
Application: Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Apply with a brush or roller. This is a decorative coating for application over a primer/undercoat. For Satin finish, it's recommended to apply over Rustins Quick Drying Primer Undercoat.
Compatibility: Suitable for use on wood and metal for interior and exterior applications.
Drying Time: Touch dry in approximately 30 minutes. Recoat after 2-4 hours, depending on conditions.
Care: Clean brushes and equipment immediately after use with water. Wipe spills and stains with a damp cloth. The finish is tough, durable, and resistant to oil and water once fully cured.
