Product Information

Full details

The Trespass Wetherill 1/2 Zip Fleece is an ideal layering garment for adult men seeking reliable warmth during outdoor activities in chilly conditions. Crafted from high-quality polyester with a brushed-back interior, it offers excellent thermal retention while maintaining a modern, knitted aesthetic. While it excels in breathability and comfort, users should note that as a fleece, it is not a waterproof outer shell and is best utilized as a mid-layer during unpredictable weather.

FAQs

Is this fleece windproof?

No, the fleece is designed for breathability and warmth. It will provide some protection, but you should wear a windproof shell over it in high-wind conditions.

What is the material composition?

The Wetherill 1/2 Zip Fleece is constructed from 100% polyester.

Does it have pockets?

The design focuses on a streamlined 1/2 zip profile without external pockets to ensure maximum comfort while layering.

Can I wear this as a primary jacket?

It is suitable for cool, dry weather. If you expect rain or heavy wind, it is best used as a mid-layer under a protective outer shell.

How should I wash it to keep it soft?

Wash it on a low-temperature cycle with similar colors. Avoid bleaching and tumble drying to prevent shrinking or damage to the fabric texture.

Is the sizing accurate for adults?

The fleece follows standard adult sizing. If you plan to wear thick base layers underneath, you may consider sizing up for a more relaxed fit.

Troubleshooting

Zipper feels stiff or catches

Ensure no loose threads are trapped in the zipper track and apply a small amount of clear candle wax to the teeth if the issue persists.

Pilling on the exterior fabric

Use a fabric shaver or de-pilling tool gently on the affected areas to restore the smooth knitted appearance.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Adjustable ventilation via the 1/2 zip neck
Soft, brushed interior lining for maximum comfort
Secure fit with elasticated cuffs and hem
Durable polyester material holds shape well
Protective chin guard prevents skin irritation

Cons

Not windproof or waterproof
Polyester material can snag on sharp objects
Requires layering for severe weather conditions

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This fleece is a standalone garment that requires no specific setup. It is fully compatible with most waterproof shells or heavy parkas, as the fabric weight is designed to reduce bulk. For care, it is recommended to machine wash on a cool setting. Avoid using heavy fabric softeners to maintain the integrity of the synthetic fibers. Always zip the garment up before laundering to prevent snagging on other items in the machine, and hang dry to preserve the elasticity of the cuffs and hem.
