Product Information

Full details

The Trespass Wetherill 1/2 Zip Fleece is designed for adult men who need a reliable, mid-layer garment for outdoor adventures or casual wear in cool weather. Its standout feature is the 245 g/m² brushed-back polyester fabric, which delivers excellent thermal efficiency while maintaining a soft, comfortable feel against the skin. While it provides fantastic warmth for its weight, users should note that as a fleece, it is not waterproof and will require an additional shell layer in heavy rain.

FAQs

Is this fleece windproof?

No, this fleece is designed for warmth and breathability. It is not windproof and should be paired with a windbreaker or shell in windy conditions.

Can I put this in the tumble dryer?

It is recommended to air dry this fleece to maintain the integrity of the polyester fibers and the elasticated hem.

What is the weight of the fabric?

The Wetherill fleece uses a 245 g/m² polyester fabric.

Does it have any pockets?

No, this specific model features a clean, minimalist design without pockets.

What size should I get if I am between sizes?

Since this is a layering piece, if you plan to wear thick base layers underneath, you may prefer to size up for a more comfortable fit.

Troubleshooting

Garment creates static electricity

Wash with a small amount of fabric softener specifically designed for synthetic technical fabrics, or hang to air dry completely.

Zip feels stiff or sticks

Check the internal fabric guard to ensure it is not caught in the zip track. You can also lightly rub the teeth with a pencil lead to lubricate them.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High thermal retention due to 245 g/m² brushed-back fabric
Versatile 1/2 zip design for easy temperature management
Soft-to-the-touch finish for all-day comfort
Secure fit provided by elasticated cuffs and hem
Includes a chin guard for added comfort

Cons

Not windproof or waterproof on its own
Limited to a single zip pocket-less design
Polyester material can be prone to static if not laundered correctly

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because this is a pull-over garment, setup is minimal—simply pull it over your base layer. It is highly compatible with most outdoor shells and parkas due to its slim-profile design. To ensure longevity and maintain the soft-brushed finish of the 245 g/m² polyester fabric, machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Avoid using harsh bleach or heavy fabric softeners, as these can degrade the thermal properties of the synthetic fibers. Always air dry the garment flat or on a hanger to prevent unwanted stretching of the elasticated ribbed cuffs.
