Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, and loose material. Fill any cracks or holes and sand smooth. For previously painted glossy surfaces, light sanding will aid adhesion. Use a suitable primer for bare or porous surfaces if necessary.
- Stirring: Thoroughly stir the paint before and during use to ensure colour consistency and proper viscosity.
- Application: Apply with a good quality brush or roller. For best results, apply in thin, even coats. Typically, two coats are recommended, allowing sufficient drying time between coats (refer to product label for specific drying times).
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.
Compatibility
This paint is compatible with a wide range of interior surfaces, including:
- Walls
- Ceilings
- Furniture (e.g., wooden cabinets, wardrobes, tables)
- Cabinets (e.g., kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities)
Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first, especially on non-standard materials.
Care & Maintenance
The durable matt finish is designed for easy maintenance:
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, wipe painted surfaces gently with a soft, damp cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a mild, non-abrasive household cleaner diluted in water. Avoid harsh scrubbing or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the matt finish.
- Touch-ups: Keep a small amount of paint for future touch-ups, ensuring the batch number matches for seamless repair.
