Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Before your first use, ensure the laces are threaded correctly and evenly through all eyelets. Adjust the lacing to achieve a snug but comfortable fit that secures your foot without restricting circulation. Always tie a double knot to prevent laces from coming undone during play. It's recommended to wear appropriate football socks for optimal comfort and to help fill out the boot for a better fit.
Compatibility
These boots feature a Multi-Ground (MG) soleplate, making them suitable for use on a variety of football surfaces. This includes firm natural grass pitches and most types of artificial turf (commonly 3G and 4G pitches). They are not recommended for extremely soft, muddy natural grass (where Soft Ground (SG) studs would be needed) or for indoor/futsal surfaces.
Care
Proper care will extend the life of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove any excess mud or dirt from the boots using a soft brush or a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight), as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Odor Control: To combat odors, remove insoles and allow them to air out. You can also use shoe deodorizers or place dryer sheets inside the boots.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in a sealed bag where moisture can build up.
