Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Using your Project Rock 6 trainers is straightforward. Simply loosen the laces, insert your foot, and then tighten the laces evenly from the toe towards the ankle. Ensure the fit is snug but not uncomfortably tight, allowing for full range of motion without excessive movement inside the shoe. Double-knotting the laces can help prevent them from coming undone during intense workouts.
Compatibility
These trainers are primarily designed for strength training, gym workouts, functional fitness, and high-intensity interval training. Their supportive structure makes them compatible with activities requiring stability and ground contact. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor gym environments. Given their robust design, they may not be the optimal choice for activities requiring minimal footwear weight or extreme flexibility, such as dedicated long-distance running or highly specialized track events.
Care
To ensure the longevity and performance of your Under Armour Project Rock 6 trainers, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, wipe the leather surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the material. For tougher dirt, a soft brush can be used gently.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers), as these can cause the leather to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. You can use shoe trees to help maintain their shape.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, remove the insoles and air them out. You can also use shoe deodorizers or sprinkle baking soda inside the shoes to absorb moisture and neutralize smells.
