While the premium nubuck leather and rubber mudguard offer significant water resistance and protection from splashes, these boots are not fully waterproof unless treated with a specific waterproofing agent designed for leather footwear. They are designed to handle damp conditions but may not keep your feet dry in heavy, prolonged rain or submersion.

We recommend choosing your standard UK shoe size. If you plan to wear thick hiking socks, you might consider going up half a size for optimal comfort. Always try them on with the socks you intend to wear.

Due to the premium nubuck leather construction, a short break-in period is advisable. Wear them for shorter periods initially to allow the leather to soften and conform to the unique shape of your foot, minimizing the chance of discomfort on longer excursions.

The Tor Summit is excellent for day hikes, moderate trails, and urban adventures, offering comfort, stability, and good traction. However, for serious mountaineering, extreme multi-day treks, or very rugged terrains, you might consider boots specifically designed for those heavier-duty applications with features like stiffer soles or higher ankle support.

The Vibram Megagrip outsole can be easily cleaned with a stiff brush and water to remove dirt, mud, and debris. For stubborn grime, a mild soap solution can be used. Ensure to rinse thoroughly and let them air dry naturally.
