Full details

The Gabor Wisdom Trainers are designed for adult women who prioritize both sophisticated style and long-lasting comfort in their everyday footwear. Crafted with a premium suede upper and a functional TR sole, these trainers provide reliable traction and support for daily wear. While they offer exceptional versatility, users should note that the UK C+ width fitting is specifically tailored for a narrower foot profile, which may not accommodate wider feet comfortably.

FAQs

Can I put these trainers in the washing machine?

No, you should never put suede trainers in the washing machine as it will damage the material and the structure of the shoe.

What does the C+ width fitting mean?

The C+ fitting is a narrow-to-standard width profile. If you have wider feet, you may find this model restrictive.

How high is the heel on the Wisdom trainers?

The heel height is 3.5cm, providing a comfortable, slight elevation.

Are the insoles replaceable?

Yes, the insoles are removable, making it easy to clean them or replace them with your own orthotic insoles.

What is the best way to clean the TR sole?

You can wipe the TR sole with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt and mud buildup.

Is the suede water-resistant?

While durable, suede is naturally porous. It is highly recommended to use a protective water-repellent spray.

Troubleshooting

Zip feels stiff or sticks

Apply a small amount of graphite from a pencil tip to the zip teeth to improve sliding action.

Suede looks dull or matted

Use a soft-bristled suede brush to gently restore the nap of the material.

Shoe feels too tight

Check if the removable insole is positioned correctly or remove it if you require more depth for custom orthotics.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Gabor Wisdom Trainers, follow these guidelines:

  1. Fitting: Ensure you are aware that the UK C+ width is a narrower design; always try on with the socks you intend to wear.
  2. Insoles: If using custom orthotics, remove the factory-provided insole first to maintain the internal volume of the shoe.
  3. Cleaning: Use a specialized suede brush to remove loose dirt. Avoid getting the suede excessively wet.
  4. Protection: Apply a suede-safe water and stain repellent spray before first use to protect against accidental spills or light moisture.
  5. Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the suede colour from fading.
