No, machine washing will permanently damage the suede material and affect the integrity of the adhesive.
The Gabor Wisdom trainers are designed with a standard width fitting, which may not be suitable for those requiring a dedicated wide-fit shoe.
Yes, the insoles are removable, making these trainers compatible with most custom-made orthotic inserts.
Lightly dampen the entire affected area evenly with a cloth, then allow to dry naturally away from heat; once dry, brush the suede to restore the texture.
TR (thermoplastic rubber) is used for its excellent durability, flexibility, and slip-resistant properties, ensuring a comfortable walk on most surfaces.
Gently clean any dust from the zip tracks and ensure no lining fabric is caught in the mechanism.
Use a specialized suede brush or a clean, dry crepe brush to restore the texture of the material.
Ensure the insole is pressed firmly into the heel cup; if it continues to slip, consider a small dab of shoe-safe adhesive under the arch.
To ensure the longevity of your Gabor Wisdom trainers, it is recommended to apply a suede-specific water-repellent spray before initial use. For daily care, use a soft suede brush to gently remove surface dust and dirt, maintaining the natural nap of the material. Because these shoes feature removable insoles, you can easily pull them out to air them out periodically. Avoid submerging the suede in water; if the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources such as radiators, which can cause the material to harden or shrink.
