FAQs

Are these flip-flops waterproof?

Yes, they are made from high-quality rubber, making them perfectly suitable for use at the beach or pool.

Will the glitter fall off easily?

The glitter is integrated into the material design to ensure it stays intact during regular daily use.

How should I store them when not in use?

Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the rubber and the glitter finish.

Can I put these in the washing machine?

It is recommended to hand clean them with a soft sponge and neutral soap to protect the decorative elements.

Are the straps soft between the toes?

Yes, Havaianas are known for their soft, flexible PVC straps designed to prevent chafing between the toes.

Do these provide arch support?

These are flat sandals designed for casual comfort; they do not feature orthopedic or high-arched support.

Troubleshooting

Strap feels tight or uncomfortable

Havaianas rubber naturally softens and molds to the foot after a few days of consistent wear.

Glitter losing its shine

Gently wipe with a damp, soft cloth to remove accumulated dust and debris that may be dulling the surface.

Sole has become slippery

Clean the rice-grain texture on the footbed with soapy water and a soft brush to remove oils or dirt buildup.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Lightweight and highly flexible for all-day comfort
Sophisticated slim design suits both casual and semi-casual outfits
Durable construction retains shape and sparkle with proper care
Reliable non-slip sole adds safety on wet surfaces

Cons

Glitter may gradually fade with heavy abrasive use
Thin strap design may feel different for those accustomed to thicker supportive straps
Not suitable for long-distance walking on rugged terrain

Setup, Compatibility & Care

The Havaianas Slim Gloss requires no special setup; simply slip them on and ensure the straps sit comfortably across the bridge of your foot. Regarding compatibility, this specific model is tailored for an adult female fit; it is recommended to verify your UK foot size against the specific size selected to ensure the heel does not overhang. To care for your flip-flops, clean them using a soft sponge dampened with water and a mild, neutral soap. Always avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or solvents, as these can strip the glitter finish. After cleaning, allow the sandals to air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area away from direct sunlight to prevent potential deformation or colour fading.
